Storm Teams Compete in ECNL National Championship Playoffs this Weekend in Denver!

After 10 months of conference play, CO Storm still has 3 Girls teams vying for a National Championship.  This weekend, the U15 and U16 Girls teams will compete in the National Championship playoffs which are hosted locally in Denver.  Top girls teams from around the country will travel to Denver along with hundreds of college coaches and the U.S. Soccer National Staff.  

 

The U14 Girls Storm Copa team finished as the #1 team in their conference and earned an automatic berth to the National Championships in Virginia.  By finishing amongst the top teams in their respective age groups, the U15 & U16 teams must play in this weekend's playoff to keep their hopes alive and join the U14s in Virgina for a shot at a National Championship.

 

This year is the second appearance for the U15 Girls in the National Championship finals.  This weekend they will compete against the top 24 teams around the nation in the Champions League Division for a chance to play in Virgina for the overall ECNL National Championship.

 

The U16 Girls qualified to play in the North American National Championship for the second year in a row.  They will also compete this weekend in a playoff for a chance to win their respective league's National Champsionship.

 

Both teams have been pitted against the top competition from around the Nation for this weekend's games.  Please get out and support our teams this weekend.  This is a great opportunity to support our club and see some of the best soccer players in the nation right here in Denver.
